The weekend after Christmas, we went to Honey and GrandPop's to celebrate with them, along with Andrea, Rick, and Wesley. Cousin Wes amazed us by consistently looking out for Nate. He brought him toys, and even shared his brand-new toys without any prompting. His focus playing with his trains, and helping Rick repair one toy (picture top left) were also amazing for a two-year old.
Santa and the grandparents again spoiled us all, with gifts, food, and a couple of relaxing days. The Brown Dog made Mama belly laugh early New Year's Day by pulling her on a long walk then leaping in crazed circles around the large lawn. Bet I won't be doing that when I'm in my nineties.
Happy and Granddad Don joined us Saturday night for dinner, then we Salty Dogs headed home to get ready for Nate's big party on Sunday.
